Spring is Here

Our first Spring event went well despite the best efforts of Mother Nature. The next spring event is fast approaching and registration is almost full so be sure to register while you can.

In recent news the Pirate Isles and Freilan packets have been completed and uploaded to the download section for your reading enjoyment.

Website, 2008 Season and Rules Updates

So 2008 is progressing and we have some news for people.

Website
The Website is progressing, even though it may seem like it isn't changing much. We are currently working on debugging the character database to make it ready for this years events. We are also working on some performance issues that seem to have crept up with the site migration. The last item that will be worked on is the gallery simply because it is a seperate piece that needs to be instaled and integrated and we are looking at gallery programs with some more options than the one we used to use. Fear not, however, the photos are all saved and something will be up by the first event.

2008 Season
Registration is open for both Spring events May 2-4 and May 23-25 and you can also purchase a full year event pass via Paypal buttons in the left margin of the site. Events do fill up so please register early. As always the lovely Renata will be cooking up mouth watering meals for everyone and we encourage people to participate in the meal plan. Believe me when I say you get what you pay for. The meal plan coveres 3 full meals on Saturday and breakfast on Sunday. Arrangements can be made, within reason, to accomodate food restrictions such as allergies.

Rules Updates
The process of reviewing and updating the rules book is almost done. There are some skills and spells that have changed but overall the rules of the game remain the same. A new version of the rulesbook will be available in the next few weeks via our downloads section.

New Website

We are in the final stages of migrating the website to a new webhost and incorporating upgrades to the site architecture itself. This move will enable us to provide you with a character database that is seamlessly integrated with your existing site login.

In the next couple of weeks we will be bringing that database online and also finalizing our sitework.

If you notice something not working correctly with the site, please let us know via the forums.
